The developers of the global strategy game Hearts of Iron IV have revealed their plans and reminded about the fleet update testing:
As you probably already know, in the current open beta, our game designer is trying to rebalance the fleet. We know that submarines are currently quite easy to detect, and some relevant changes will be released with Peace for our Time.
The focus set Peace for our Time is in development, and the DLC is being created in collaboration with modders.
In addition, a free update is being prepared with improvements to AI, performance, and bug fixes:
This time, we've also added "click reduction technologies" for features that required excessively many clicks.
Polishing of the Thunder at our Gates DLC with focuses on Australia, Siam, and Indonesia is also ongoing:

The content and update releases are expected in the first half of 2026.
The game turns 10 years old on June 6. The anniversary will be celebrated, but the authors of Hearts of Iron IV will not reveal the details yet.
