Marvel continues to assemble a team to reboot the "X-Men." The authors of "Beef," who have already worked with the director of "Thunderbolts*," have joined the project.

Collider released an exclusive article in which director Jake Schreier said that Lee Sung Jin and Joanna Calo, the authors of the series "Beef" and more, are working on the script for the "X-Men" reboot.

Schreier has already collaborated with Sung Jin and Calo: together they worked on "Beef" and "Thunderbolts*." It was important for the director to reassemble this team, as they know how to combine personal conflicts of characters with larger themes - this, according to him, is critical for creating "a great X-Men movie."

Plot details, cast, and exact production dates have not yet been revealed. The film is expected to be released after "Avengers: Secret Wars," tentatively in 2028, and will give a full start to the seventh phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
