Netflix has presented a LEGO spin-off based on the One Piece universe and released the first trailer. The special will premiere on September 29, 2026. It will consist of two episodes and will be the first project of this format for the platform.
The production is handled by LEGO Group, Shueisha, and Atomic studio. This is not a new story, but a retelling of the events of the first two seasons of the live-action series — with a lighter tone and a noticeable emphasis on humor. The special will also serve as a kind of preparation for the third season with the subtitle "Battle for Alabasta", which is expected in 2027.
Meanwhile, the original anime is also moving forward. After a pause, the series returned to the air with the Elbaf arc on April 5 and is now released according to an updated scheme: 26 episodes per year divided into courses.
