Developers promise to simplify the complaint system.
Bungie has released a new statement regarding the situation with cheaters in Marathon. The developers emphasized that they adhere to a policy of "zero tolerance" towards unfair play and are already actively banning violators, while simultaneously improving detection systems.
According to Bungie, the anti-cheat system is in constant development: new methods of telemetry and tracking are used, and improvements will be implemented gradually over the coming weeks. The studio notes that the fight against cheaters is a continuous process that includes monitoring, analysis, and rapid response.
The developers pay special attention to three key areas:
- simplifying the system for reporting players suspected of cheating
- improving tools for reporting abuse and toxicity
- implementing feedback so that players can learn about the punishment of offenders after their complaints
In addition, Bungie is investing in the development of voice and text chat moderation systems to more effectively identify toxic behavior.
