Byron Bullock also worked on Helldivers 2, Dead Space, and Control.

The soundtrack for Silent Hill: Townfall is being handled by composer Anthony Scott Burns, better known under the pseudonym Pilotpriest. According to writer and director of No Code studio, Jon McKellan, the collaboration began with lengthy discussions about classic soundtracks from the series and ideas for the new installment. The developer noted that Burns is not only a talented composer but also a director with visual thinking, which allowed them to create music that enhances the perception of the game.

Pilotpriest himself has long been a fan of the series and the works of Akira Yamaoka. He admitted that it was Yamaoka's music that largely shaped his perception of horror in games: the combination of atmospheric drones, hypnotic melodies, and industrial rhythms literally defined the player's experience, rather than just complementing it.

In addition to Burns, Byron Bullock, who previously worked on Ghost of Yotei, Helldivers 2, Dead Space, Control, and The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, is also working on the sound design of the upcoming horror game.

Byron's team has partnered in the development of the game. They have taken on all aspects of audio in the game — from cutscenes, foley, and sound effects to implementing a fully dynamic soundtrack system that evolves as the game progresses, reacting to your actions and the actions of enemies.
