The Lift, an engineer simulator inspired by Soviet science fiction, will not be released before the end of 2026, as originally promised by the developers from Fantastic Signals studio. The game is now scheduled for 2027, but it will launch not only on PC, but also on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
Since our high-profile announcement and first public playtest at the end of 2025, the concept of The Lift has expanded significantly — all thanks to your invaluable feedback. In addition, after analyzing community feedback, we decided to release the game simultaneously on Steam and consoles.
To fulfill both of these commitments — to realize a larger-scale vision for the project and ensure a simultaneous launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox (which is no easy task, given the game's complexity) — we made the decision to move the release to 2027. This will give us more time to create a truly deep narrative adventure that, we hope, you will remember for many years to come.
