Temtem: Pioneers was announced as part of the Triple-i Initiative Showcase. Judging by the first details, Crema is preparing a competitor to Palworld.
Unlike the original Temtem, the events of the new game will unfold not on the Archipelago, which the developers describe as "a vast and wild territory where Temtems freely roam, and each expedition brings new discoveries."
Serious changes have also affected the gameplay. If Temtem was inspired by classic role-playing games in the spirit of Pokémon, then Temtem: Pioneers focuses on a mixture of creature collection, survival elements, and dynamic battles. The game will also feature construction, multiplayer, and other mechanics characteristic of modern survival games. At the same time, judging by the trailer, the project will do without more radical elements like firearms and "factories" that are in Palworld.
For Crema, this is already the third attempt to expand the franchise. Previously, the studio released Temtem: Showdown, which was closed in 2024, as well as the experimental project Temtem: Swarm, inspired by Vampire Survivors.
