Back in February, there were rumors about a crossover between the Cyberpunk 2077 universe and Wuthering Waves. Now, new details have emerged.
The voice actress of one of the anime characters Cyberpunk: Edgerunners revealed which heroes will be included in the game that won the player's choice award at The Game Awards 2025. Wendy Lee announced that Lucy and Rebecca from Edgerunners will appear in Wuthering Waves. The post on X appeared ahead of time and was quickly deleted, but users managed to take screenshots.
The Wuthering Waves community is sharing additional leaks about the event format. The storyline with Lucy and Rebecca will supposedly be separate – it will be taken outside the main story so as not to disrupt the structure of the free-to-play project.
The crossover is expected to launch in June 2026 with update 3.4. The game previously won the player's choice award at TGA 2025.
