Hobby World Publishing announced that it is going to localize the Kingdom Crossing board game by game designers Marco Canetta and Stefania Niccolini, who gave the world such projects as Railroad Revolution, Norsewind, and The Specialists.

The board game, designed for 1–4 players, will transport gamers to the Brightspring kingdom, ruled by the wise Queen Beavery. The ruler is faced with a problem: her four regions are separated by seven bridges, and in order to evenly distribute time between her subjects, the kingdom needs an eighth bridge.

Players will have to hire craftsmen, collect resources for construction, and create decorations. There is one restriction — participants cannot use the same bridge more than once a day.

Players will have the opportunity to get help from five forest guilds: foxes bring instant prestige, owls provide money, bears give bonuses from buildings, boars help to move faster around the kingdom, and deer provide additional wood, stone, juice, or food.

In each region, you can meet characters or use buildings. The players' beavers move between them, crossing bridges that have not yet been crossed in this round. The game lasts four rounds, and each round is divided into three phases: morning, day, evening.

To win, you need to score more prestige than your opponents after four rounds. Kingdom Crossing is inspired by the "Seven Bridges of Königsberg" problem, which asked how to walk across all the bridges of the center of old Königsberg without crossing any of them twice.

In Russia, the game, which earned 7.8 points out of 10 on the BoardGameGeek portal, is expected to be released in the second half of autumn 2026.
