Cozy survival about floating islands Solarpunk will be released in June

The indie scene in 2026 will be supplemented by another project. Cyberwave Studio has confirmed the release date of Solarpunk - the game will be released simultaneously on PC and current generation consoles.

The project has been developed by a small team of two people for several years and has faced postponements. The authors note that additional time has helped to bring the game to a state that meets the expectations of players.

Solarpunk is a survival game in an unusual world of floating islands. Instead of a tough struggle for survival, the emphasis here is on a calm pace, exploration and construction. Players will be able to create bases, grow plants, construct devices and use renewable energy sources – sun, wind and water.

An important part will be the cooperative: the game can be completed together with friends, sharing tasks and exploring the world on their own airships.

The project has already attracted attention: the demo version has collected hundreds of thousands of downloads, and the wish list has exceeded one million additions. For a small team, this is a strong result. If all goes according to plan, June 8, 2026 will make it clear whether Solarpunk will be able to gain a foothold among the most notable cozy survivals.
