Recently, CD Projekt RED released an update to Cyberpunk 2077 for PlayStation 5 Pro. The developers have prepared improvements to ray tracing and more.

ElAnalistaDeBits reviewed the updated version and decided to do a comparison with Cyberpunk 2077 on PC.

For the tests, a PC with an RTX 5060 Ti video card was used with settings close to those used on the PS5 Pro, with the exception of "ray-traced reflections, which on the PC are applied to all surfaces."

According to ElAnalistaDeBits, the PS5 Pro may be slightly ahead of this video card in performance without using Frame Generation technology. However, the RTX 5060 Ti is capable of running in path tracing mode, which cannot be done on the PS5:

In Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5 Pro, with the new Ray‑Tracing Pro mode, the lighting quality has been improved by ray tracing for shadows, global illumination, and some reflections

Compared to the PC version, shadows and reflections (where ray tracing is actually used) look "very close to the highest possible settings on the PC." However, global illumination is still better on the PC.

PSSR and NVIDIA DLSS at 1440p resolution are almost equivalent in image quality.
