Recently, "RBC" drew attention to the decision of the Moscow court. The American video game developer and publisher Electronic Arts was fined 2 million rubles.
The Justice of the Peace of precinct No. 422 of the Tagansky district of Moscow found Electronic Arts guilty of "failure by the operator to ensure the recording, systematization and storage of personal data of Russian citizens using databases in the country" (part 8 of article 13.11 of the Administrative Code).
Electronic Arts has not sold its games in Russia for a long time and liquidated the local legal entity "LLC \"Electronic Arts\"" several years ago.
Previously, similar claims arose in the Russian Federation against the developers of Escape from Tarkov.
