Developers are testing new gameplay mechanics and content.
The developers of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord have introduced beta updates v1.4.0 and v1.2.0 for the base game and the War Sails add-on.
TaleWorlds Entertainment is testing naval patrols: the AI fleet will act against enemy ports and interfere with trade.
Naval raids on villages have also appeared:
Unlike land raids, the attackers will approach the coast and disembark from their ships, while the defenders are in a hurry to organize a defense. We have created a set of new scenes for coastal villages. After the release of the function, we also plan to further expand this set.
The developers said that they are working on diversifying content and improving AI.
The mechanics of war are being revised: the developers want to avoid insignificant conflicts and long periods of inactivity when nothing happens.
The system of trade relations and alliances will be more flexible: it will begin to better reflect the current political situation.
