It seems Valve is preparing to release a new controller for Steam. Recent data indicates that the device may be released sooner than expected.
According to customs documents analyzed by Brad Lynch, a large shipment of goods labeled "wireless PC controller" has arrived in the US. The shipment included 40 packages weighing nearly 13 tons in total and was sent from Hong Kong in early April.
Upon inspection, it was revealed that the cargo is associated with Valve, indicating a new version of the Steam Controller that was discussed last year.
There is no official release date yet, but the volume of the shipment suggests preparations for the device's launch in the coming weeks.
