Pocketpair developers continue to work on the 1.0 update for Palworld. Head of Communications and Publishing John Buckley asked players to wait, noting that the version is "still in the oven."
Last September, we released a video where we said that the whole team is working on 1.0 and we will be silent until it is ready. I know you want 1.0 as soon as possible, but it's still in the oven!
Later he added:
We'll open the oven a little when it's almost ready so you can smell it.
Buckley noted that similar claims were made during updates like Feybreak, but the studio is confident in its approach to promoting the game.
According to him, 1.0 will add a lot of new content. Details are kept secret for now. Buckley noted that players can expect surprises, and the changes will affect the entire gameplay. At the same time, players will be able to continue playing with their saves, but the developers gently recommend starting over.
He also said earlier that Palworld is unlikely to follow the path of long-term support like No Man’s Sky, due to the limitations and features of the genre.
