The AI sector has become the company's largest source of revenue and a driver of record growth.
In a new interview, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang elaborated on NVIDIA's strategy, which in recent years has transformed from a video card manufacturer into one of the key players in the global AI industry. According to him, the company's success is based not only on the hype around AI, but also on a fundamental bet on accelerated computing.
According to Huang, even in a world without AI, NVIDIA would continue to grow actively thanks to its core technology — a combination of GPUs and the CUDA ecosystem with central processors. This approach allows transferring computational tasks to graphics accelerators and achieving performance gains of 100-200 times. These solutions are used in science, engineering, data processing, computer graphics, and other fields.
At the same time, the head of NVIDIA noted that artificial intelligence has become the company's largest source of income and a driver of record growth. Each new generation of GPUs requires billions of dollars in development investment, but it pays off thanks to colossal demand.
