In the foreseeable future, users from Russia will be able to purchase the asymmetrical board game Ironwood, in which two factions will fight each other for control of territories and for special crystals that contain enormous energy.
GaGa Games Publishing has announced that its next pre-order will be Ironwood, an asymmetrical dueling game about the eternal confrontation of two irreconcilable factions.
This project has already been featured at the Golden Geek event as the best duel of 2024 and has a rating of 7.8 on BoardGameGeek with over 1800 reviews from players around the world.
Ironwood features a concise card engine, a territory control system, and two asymmetrical factions with different goals, victory conditions, advantages, and combat strategies, clear rules that can be learned in just 10 minutes, and games lasting only about an hour.
There is also a well-thought-out solo mode that allows you to play against any faction at different levels of difficulty, atmospheric art, a detailed playing field, and even reminders.
The game is developed by the Hungarian publishing house Mindclash Games, well known for its unusual projects, such as Anachrony or Perseverance. Ironwood has the same signature originality of the studio, but in a lighter and more dynamic format of a tense duel - without tomes of rules and many hours of games.
