NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that the era of artificial intelligence will not lead to massive job losses, but rather create new employment opportunities. According to him, AI should be seen not as a replacement for humans, but as a new platform for work.
Speaking at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Huang compared the development of artificial intelligence to a modern version of the industrial revolution. Despite widespread concerns that technology could deprive people of work, he emphasized that it is much more likely that the person who does not use AI will lose their job, giving way to a more adaptable specialist.
According to the head of NVIDIA, the key factor remains the ability of a person to adapt quickly. He cited an example of how, thanks to AI, people can improve their skills and change their profession — for example, carpenters can become architects or interior designers, using generative tools to create projects and drawings.
Huang also noted that artificial intelligence has become the fastest-spreading technology in history due to its accessibility and ease of use. He is convinced that as this industry develops, the total number of jobs in the world will only grow.
