Cosplayer Valeria "Caroline" Igoreva went to the Soul Society, the world of spirits from the anime "Bleach", to transform into Retsu Unohana - an excellent healer, captain of the fourth squad of Gotei 13, and a master of swordsmanship.
The universe of the manga "Bleach", thanks to which the anime series of the same name, animated films, various games and more appeared, continues to delight cosplay fans.
During a photo shoot conducted by photographer KIRAMIRA, model Valeria "Caroline" Igoreva appeared as Retsu Unohana, formerly known as Yachiru Unohana.
She was the captain of the fourth squad of Gotei 13 and one of the oldest and most experienced captains, the best doctor in the Soul Society, and also held the title of the first Kenpachi. More than a thousand years ago, this woman was considered a bloodthirsty criminal. Retsu knew all the schools of fencing and could handle any kind of sword.
Unohana has deep knowledge in kido and spiritual energy flows. In its unreleased form, Minazuki - the heroine's spiritual weapon - is a curved sword, slightly longer than a standard katana, similar to a nodachi.
When released, the blade of the sword turns into a dark red viscous liquid that quickly covers everything around. Bankai Minazuki is dangerous because it corrodes everything to the bone, and subsequently the bones.
