Sword of the Sea was released almost a year ago on PC and PS5 and received high marks for its unusual adventure, in which the player controls a creature on a hoverboard and restores an abandoned world.
The game from Giant Squid Studios, the creators of Abzû and The Pathless, also received acclaim for its music – so much so that the project even received a music award.
After a question on social media about a possible release on Xbox, the developers replied:
Yes, we will soon begin considering porting options.
This means that an Xbox version is quite possible, although there is no official confirmation yet. At the same time, many believe that the game would also be a great fit for Nintendo Switch 2.
