Former members of the StopGame.ru team announced the launch of their own publishing house. The project includes Dmitry Kungurov, Vasily Galperov, Semen Okorokov, and Maksim Milyazev, as well as the creators of the YouTube channels "CHETYRE K", "Shum i Draft", and other media outlets.
The initiative grew out of the creative studio RULER Productions, which Kungurov assembled at the end of 2024. The team brought together specialists from different fields — from gaming journalism and blogging to marketing and production — and focused on helping developers and publishers.
Over the past year, the team managed to work on a number of projects. In particular, they were involved in creating cutscenes for Pathologic 3, going through the entire process from storyboards to the final render. The studio also released trailers for more than two dozen games, including Welcome to Brightville, Tiny Bookshop, Agent of Strange, Void Train, and Static Dread, as well as several projects that have not yet been announced. The team's partners include publishers HypeTrain Digital, Polden, and Skystone Games.
In addition to production, the team was engaged in strategic support for projects: helping to find funding, build marketing campaigns, and prepare games for release on platforms. This experience allowed them to better understand the difficulties developers face, especially when launching on Steam, where achieving success without serious marketing support is extremely difficult.
According to the participants, Multifora Digital is a "new-generation publishing house" created by people who did not come from traditional publishing, but from media and communities. In their view, this background helps them better understand the audience and players' needs.
Multifora Digital intends to be actively involved in project development, working together with creators to find optimal solutions. Its key areas of activity include shaping positioning and narrative, a full marketing cycle, creating trailers and visual materials, preparing for work with platforms and algorithms, as well as helping attract investment.
At the time of the announcement, the publishing house already has several projects in progress, details of which they promise to reveal in the near future.
