He also expressed hope that Joel will continue to be developed across different media: games, series, films, and even comics.

His words aligned with Druckmann's recent hints about a possible third installment, The Last of Us Part III. Fans assume that even after Joel's death, the plot may include flashbacks revealing his connection with Ellie.
