Despite its high price, the collector’s edition offers an impressive set of bonuses. It will include a large black-themed box, a figurine of Edward Kenway sitting on a treasure chest, a themed notebook with lore and character notes, a brooch, as well as a map of the game world.
Judging by the leaks, the developers have significantly reworked the gameplay. In particular, the combat system has been improved, and the tailing missions were seriously refined, which should make the playthrough more dynamic and less irritating.
