New gifts for Escape from Tarkov players have appeared - an optimization survey has started
Some players note optimization improvements in EFT 1.0.4.5.
A major update 1.0.4.5 was recently released for Escape from Tarkov. The developers improved optimization on many maps, for example, they implemented an updated player culling system on the Lighthouse, Shoreline, Woods, and Ground Zero locations. Also, to improve performance, an iteration of optimization of environment objects and geometry of the "Streets of Tarkov" location was implemented.
A few days later, Battlestate Games launched an in-game survey for the EFT community – the developers want to know players' opinions on performance and loading speed improvements.
As usual, a set of gifts has been prepared for those who complete this survey. This time they are "marked" (with the status "found in raid"). The set includes: a pair of toolkits, two phase control relays, several candles, and three electric motors.
With update 1.0.4.5, Escape from Tarkov introduced a quest progression protection system that works in local PVE Zone raids:
Now, in case of an emergency game shutdown, quest progress will be rolled back to the state at the start of the raid;.
