Arc Raiders to Change Challenge System - Remove Map Condition Bonuses and Diversify Quests
Developers have taken into account criticism from previous seasons. Some rules will be revised.
Arc Raiders developers are preparing for the release of the next major update, Riven Tides, and the launch of the fourth season of challenges. The weekly quest system will be thoroughly changed.
Season Four starts on April 29th – the day after Riven Tides is released. Previously, challenges were unavailable during the Expedition submission window.
Completing challenges on maps with conditions will no longer grant bonuses. Previously, players received double progress when a condition was active. This change, according to the developers, will allow players to complete challenges on any map as they see fit.
Challenges will no longer be tied to specific map conditions (previously, there were tasks like “Disarming Mines” or “Getting Struck by Lightning”).
In Season Four, Arc Raiders developers plan to make challenges more diverse. Challenges related to “melee combat,” using specific grenades or gadgets, and searching for “unique containers” are expected.
The reward for Arc Raiders Season 4 challenges will be the Recon Outfit skin:

Arc Raiders developers also took other feedback into account – they made changes to the Expedition system. Players can now expect an extended submission window and a new challenge.
