Alien: Isolation 2 Announced, But Release Is Years Away

Fans have long awaited a sequel to Alien: Isolation, which is considered one of the best sci-fi horror games. The Creative Assembly studio project has gathered a large fan base that has been asking for a sequel for many years.

However, the new teaser showed that the game is at a very early stage of development. It also became known that the team is looking for a senior development manager, which indicates an expansion of production.

The job description mentions that Unreal Engine 5 (possibly version 5.6) will be the basis of Alien: Isolation 2. This is a significant change compared to the first part, which ran on the studio's proprietary engine.

The transition to Unreal Engine 5 can improve graphics, lighting, and environmental detail, while retaining the key part of the original – the atmosphere of horror.

According to preliminary estimates, the game is at an early stage of development, so the release is not expected before 2028. Alien: Isolation 2 exists, but we will have to wait a long time.
