Player showed Crimson Desert with an isometric camera, turning the game into a Diablo-style APRG

Recently, a user under the nickname Competitive-Tie-2486 presented an alternative view of the action-RPG Crimson Desert. He decided to change the camera in such a way that the gameplay began to resemble Diablo in style.

He tested this camera in combat and it performed well. After pressing the block button, the camera will lock onto the enemy, and the same will happen when the player starts aiming with a bow. However, there is a nuance: trees and walls "constantly interfere" with playing this way: they block the view, causing the camera to sharply zoom in.

Competitive-Tie-2486 published the settings to activate the "isometric camera" in Crimson Desert — "FOV: 0" (field of view) and "Camera distance: 100" (camera distance).

Previously, several hotfixes were released for Crimson Desert — the developers fixed bugs that arose after a recent update, for example:

  • Fixed an issue where some mounts were not displayed in the quick slot and could not be summoned.
  • Fixed an issue where wearing a mask would show a hit effect even when hitting non-attackable NPCs.
  • Fixed an issue where starting a new game with a separate save file would not set the selected difficulty level.
