
Dead Cells and God of War: Ghost of Sparta played on the Anbernic RG Rotate portable device
The Anbernic RG Rotate portable device will be able to run all sorts of games from Android, PS2, N64, GameCube, and other platforms. To prove this, Anbernic employees posted a video online showing gameplay of various projects, as well as multiplayer matches, streaming functionality, and Bluetooth controller support.
The Anbernic RG Rotate is a portable device with a rotating screen, suitable not only for viewing photos and listening to music, but also for active gaming.
Today, the developers published a new video in which they played projects such as Dead Cells, Neo Contra, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Rune Factory 4, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, Digimon Virtual Pet, SoulCalibur, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Kirby: Squeak Squad, and more.
The video also showed the team demonstrating streaming functionality for launching PC games (Cuphead platformer was used as a test subject), support for connecting Bluetooth controllers and a TV, and multiplayer matches.
The Anbernic RG Rotate is equipped with a 3.5-inch IPS touch screen with full lamination and a resolution of 720×720. The device supports games from Android, PS2, Wii, GameCube, 3DS, PSP, Dreamcast, Saturn, PS1, NDS, N64, CPS1, CPS2, CPS3, FBA, NeoGeo, GBA, GBC, GB, SNES, NES, MD, SMS, GG, MSX, PCE, WSC, N-Gage, and other platforms.
It is not yet known when pre-orders for this new product will open, but the device will be available in two color configurations: silver (all-aluminum body) and black (aluminum alloy + ABS plastic).
