Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will feature blood, and parkour will use ideas from AC Shadows and other later installments of the franchise
Ubisoft does not plan to sell blood as a separate add-on.
Many players were pleased with the presentation of the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag remake, but some were concerned about the small amount of blood. It was suggested that the game had been censored.
Producer Justin Ng noticed the discussions on social media and addressed the community. He explained that the release version of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will indeed have blood. He also noted that feedback on combat effects had been heard:
I think I should clarify a couple of things (I hope I don't get into trouble for this): The final version of the game WILL have blood, and it will not be paid DLC. We have heard your feedback regarding visual effects and sounds during combat. We will reduce their intensity.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Game Director Richard Knight said that the remake was influenced by later installments of the franchise, such as Assassin's Creed Shadows or Valhalla:
The parkour mechanics draw on the latest design developments from recent Assassin's Creed games, while retaining Edward's classic movements.
