Alawar Released The Last Gas Station on Steam, a Game About a Gas Station Owner in a World of Victorious Electric Cars

Something happened to the previous owner, and now the new one has to bring order and grow the business.

In late April, Alawar presented a new project, The Last Gas Station, on PC via Steam. Players are invited to enter a world where electric cars have triumphed and take on the role of an old gas station owner, lost in the wilderness, with a small shop attached.

According to the plot, the previous owner of the gas station disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and now the main character must maintain order and develop the business. To do this, it is necessary to clear debris, organize the space, establish trade, order goods, set prices, restock shelves and refrigerators, work the cash register, and monitor fuel levels:

Get rid of old equipment and order new. Expand the range of services provided — install a tire inflation machine and equip an area for oil changes and maintenance. Establish gasoline supplies and customize the neon sign so that the station is visible even on the darkest night [...] Turn dilapidated ruins into a beacon for travelers stuck in time. But whatever happens — do not go outside at night if you do not want to repeat the fate of the previous owner.
