The game is being developed by Team Junkfish, known for the horror game Monstrum.
The horror game Wilderdark has been announced for personal computers, set on a mysterious island inhabited by ectoparasitic dinosaurs and other dangerous organisms. The game will be released by the end of this year. A demo will be available on May 7.
As Team Junkfish Senior Marketing Manager Ellie Gibbs noted in a press release, the team has kept the development a secret for over three years. According to her, the studio is happy to finally show the game to the public and return to the type of horror that fans have been waiting for.
Danger lurks in the wilderness. Wilderdark is a horror game where you explore an island with dinosaurs and organisms infected with ectoparasites. Stay vigilant: act stealthily, gather clues and samples, and craft tools to survive.
