Subnautica 2 System Requirements - Underwater Survival Will Run on GeForce GTX 1660

Recently, Unknown Worlds Entertainment announced the release date for Subnautica 2, and now the developers have decided to reveal the game's system requirements.

The developers published a table outlining scenarios for different players. Those who want to play at 1080p 30 FPS on “low” settings will need a GTX 1660 or RX 5500XT graphics card. For “ultra++” graphics at 4K 60 FPS, an RTX 5070 Ti or RX 7900XT will be useful.

Minimum System Requirements for Subnautica 2 (1080p at 30 FPS “low” settings):

• OS: Windows 10 / 11
• Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600
• RAM: 12 GB
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5500XT
• Storage: 50 GB

Recommended Requirements for Subnautica 2 (1440p at 60 FPS “medium” settings):

• OS: Windows 11
• Processor: Intel Core i7-13700 or AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
• RAM: 16 GB
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700XT
• Storage: 50 GB

Subnautica 2 is scheduled for release on PC via Steam on May 14th – the game will first launch in “early access” and is expected to remain in it for approximately 2-3 years.
