The creators of the global 4X strategy game Sid Meier's Civilization VII presented a new development diary and talked about their achievements.

The Firaxis Games team prepared a small update “Update 1.3.2 – Patch 2”. It is designed to fix a long-standing late-game problem — it turned out that the system was performing many unnecessary calculations:

Fixed an issue causing performance drops in the late game. Developer comment: The game logic that checks for the ability to attack buildings has been improved to avoid unnecessary and resource-intensive calculations.

They also fixed a critical error that could lead to a crash while processing turns for AI-controlled civilizations.

In addition, various crashes and bugs have been fixed in the macOS version of Civilization VII.

The developers of Sid Meier's Civilization VII announced the implementation of “Teen Accounts” support in the game:

For players who are old enough to create a full 2K account but have not yet reached 18 years of age, some features will be disabled by default to provide a safer gaming experience. Players retain full control and can re-enable these features at any time through their 2K account settings.
