Mass Effect's "successor" will feature Fallout 4-style dialogues and a blind companion - Exodus gameplay teaser
Players were not thrilled when Bethesda used a similar dialogue system.
Archetype Entertainment studio continues to introduce players to the gameplay mechanics of Exodus. The developers recently released another teaser, in which they offer a look at the dialogue system:
This time, we're showing something more personal: a quiet conversation with Phaedra, one of your combat companions, during a joint mission. This is one of many moments between battles where you shape the personality of the protagonist June and determine how your story will unfold.
Phaedra is a character with a health peculiarity – she lost her sight due to a celestial virus:
Her drone transmits environmental data to her, and this virus gave her an unexpected ability to interact with celestial glyphs.
From this teaser, it became known that the dialogue options in Exodus are made in the style of Fallout 4: the player chooses a line, but behind a short description of the hero's phrase, for example, "this is incredible," there can be a set of several large sentences. In the past, many players criticized such a system.
Exodus is scheduled for release in 2027. You can add the game to your Steam wishlist here. This summer, the developers plan to hold a full gameplay presentation.
