Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Reaches 1 Million Wishlists in a Week
Despite the absence of DLC and multiplayer, interest in the remake has proven high.
A week after its presentation, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has garnered 1 million additions to wishlists. Ubisoft confirmed that this figure accounts for all platforms. With a release date of July 9, the number is likely to grow.
The game is a completely revamped remake of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag (2013) and is being developed on an updated version of the Anvil engine. As the project utilizes technologies from Assassin’s Creed Shadows, dynamic weather (Atmos), improved parkour retaining Edward’s signature moves, and the Observe Mode mechanic are expected.
However, some of the changes have sparked mixed reactions. The remake will not feature PvP or additional content, including the Freedom Cry DLC.
Despite criticism of certain decisions, the absence of some original content has not affected the project's popularity.
