PlayStation Opens Pre-Registration for Baseball Simulator MLB The Show Mobile on iOS and Android
Sony continues to bring its franchises to mobile platforms.
Sony has opened pre-registration for MLB The Show Mobile Baseball on the App Store and Google Play, bringing the game closer to a global release. The stores indicate an estimated release date of May 26, 2026.
The game is based on the MLB The Show baseball simulator series but is being developed as a separate mobile project. San Diego Studio, which has been working on the franchise since 2006, is responsible for the development.
The developers promise to preserve the spirit of the original and adapt the mechanics for short gaming sessions. MLB The Show Mobile will feature single-player and PvP modes, as well as a collectible card system with over 1100 baseball players from past and present years. Its structure resembles Ultimate Team from the EA Sports series: players assemble a roster, trade on the market, and level up athletes, improving their characteristics.
Currently, MLB The Show Mobile is already available in a soft launch format in several countries, including Australia, Canada, Mexico, and the Philippines.
