PlayStation Unveils Major May 2026 Releases. Sony Schedules Big Monthly Launches

At the beginning of May 2026, Sony decided to remind us about upcoming releases. This month will see a new LEGO adaptation of Batman's adventures, a PlayStation version of a racing game from the Warhammer 40,000 franchise, a game about a young Bond, and more.

List of May PlayStation releases:

• May 7 — Mixtape — a story about a trio of friends who "embark on one last adventure together" before parting ways.
• May 12 — Directive 8020 — a new horror game from Supermassive Games. The colony ship "Cassiopeia" crashes, and it turns out the crew members are not alone.
• May 14 — Outbound — a cozy game about traveling in an electric van, building, and farming. The PC version of this game was postponed to the 11th due to Subnautica 2.
• May 21 — Coffee Talk Tokyo — a visual novel about making drinks in a late-night cafe.
• May 21 — Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks — a combat racing game based on "Warhammer".

• May 22 — Bubsy 4D — a new platformer in the long-running franchise about the adventures of Bubsy the bobcat.
• May 22 — LEGO Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight
• May 27 — 007 First Light — a game about the adventures of a young James Bond from the creators of Hitman.
