Crimson Desert developers have released update 1.05.00, focusing on one of the community's main complaints — the lack of combat in the late game.
The game now features a "Re-battle" mode, which allows players to re-engage with previously defeated bosses. To do this, players need to return to the battle location and activate "memory shards."
Battles are available for any of the three characters and come in two variants. In "Memories" mode, the opponent remains as they were during the first encounter. In "Resonance" mode, their characteristics adjust to the player's current level, turning a familiar fight into a more serious challenge.
The second new feature is the "Re-blockade" mode. Liberated outposts can now fall under enemy control again, and the frequency of such events can be customized. Three options are available — from a complete absence of blockades to "total chaos" on the map.
Currently, the new activities do not offer additional rewards, so some players may quickly lose interest in them. The developers explicitly state that the systems are still being refined and will evolve.
In addition to the key new features, the patch includes a standard set of changes: balance improvements, combat system adjustments, interface refinements, and dozens of bug fixes.
