To win in Gambonanza, it's not enough to deal with one king. You'll have to destroy all other pieces on the board as well.

In early May, Gambonanza was released – a new turn-based "roguelike" in which developer Blukulélé offers players an unconventional take on chess.

Now, a "tiny board" is used for the game, and destroying one king will not be enough; Gambonanza has different victory rules:

Hone your tactics, spend your winnings wisely, and unlock combinations of gambits, squares, and pieces. Fight mighty bosses and break the usual rules in countless ways! In this game, to win, you don't just need to capture the king, but to destroy all pieces on the board using well-thought-out synergies! Be careful: take too many moves, and the board will start to crumble before your eyes...

Players in Gambonanza can unlock over 150 gambits that will change the rules and features of the playthrough. For example, you can try to assemble an army of bishops or force the opponent to skip moves as often as possible. Board squares can be upgraded, which will expand tactical possibilities.

Gambonanza received "very positive" reviews on Steam, with an 89% rating. The game is also available on Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store) mobile devices – also distributed as a premium game.
