Publisher DANGEN Entertainment and Alkacer Game Studio announced that the action game Magical Blush will be released on PC this summer. The release will take place on Steam and GOG, with versions for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the original Switch coming later. Along with the announcement, the developers released a free demo on Steam so players can try out the project before release.
Magical Blush is described as a top-down action game with Metroidvania elements, focusing on fast-paced combat and exploration of an interconnected world. Players will have to combine spells, exploit enemy weaknesses, and gradually unlock new zones, returning to previously explored areas with new abilities.
The story centers on the mage Arnin, who returns from the astral plane to find a ruined world. The catastrophe was caused by the release of the Elemental Lords, powerful entities that got out of control. The heroine will have to travel through the kingdom of Vinn, save survivors, and confront the forces of fire, water, wind, stone, and spirit, gradually uncovering the reasons for what happened.
