Playground Games has announced the completion of development for Forza Horizon 6 – the project has "gone gold". This means that the final version of the game is ready for production and the release will happen without delays.
Developers continue to share details about the game ahead of its launch. They previously discussed multiplayer modes, and now they have revealed new details regarding radio stations and accessibility features.
One of the main innovations will be the most extensive soundtrack in the series' history. The game will feature nine radio stations, each offering a unique musical style – from energetic drum & bass and electronic music to rock, hip-hop, synthwave, and even contemporary classical. The list of stations includes Horizon Pulse, Horizon Bass Arena, Horizon Block Party, Horizon XS, Hospital Records, Gacha City Radio, Sub Pop Records, Horizon Wave, and Horizon Opus.
Special attention has been paid to accessibility in Forza Horizon 6. The game will feature functions such as AutoDrive, a proximity radar for tracking cars in "blind spots", and a high-contrast mode for better object visibility. Familiar options will also return: full control remapping, screen reader, subtitles, FOV adjustment on PC, colorblind filters, game speed modification in offline mode, as well as a wide range of difficulty settings and driving assists.
