The head of Battlestate Games continues to publish various Escape from Tarkov teasers on social media. Recently, he presented a screenshot of a new location.
Nikita Buyanov did not provide any explanations, but fans have a theory: some found it reminiscent of "Endofline," which was shown during the winter TarkovTV special stream.
During that TarkovTV, another location, Icebreaker, was also shown. The developers have not yet announced the release date for the update that will add this map to Escape from Tarkov. However, a new selection of "Icebreaker" screenshots has appeared online (also without additional explanations).
Currently, not only new content but also other major changes are being prepared for Escape from Tarkov. The developers have opened an ETS server and lifted the NDA (non-disclosure agreement) — they are testing a new version of the Unity engine. According to them, the transition will improve the stability and performance of the extraction shooter and will allow "using new game engine capabilities" in future updates. A redesigned aiming system is also being tested.
