In the Leningrad Region, a minor accused of a large-scale graphics card scam will appear before the court. The regional department of the Investigative Committee reported the incident.
The investigation established that the teenager acquired a pickup point from an entrepreneur in Sertolovo and, having gained control over the location, decided to use it for fraud. He placed orders for expensive graphics cards through other people's accounts in the application, specifying his own point as the pickup location.
He had no intention of paying for the goods. When the parcels arrived, the guy discreetly took them out and disposed of them at his discretion. The total damage amounted to more than one million rubles.
The investigation of the criminal case under the article on large-scale fraud (Part 4, Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) has been completed. The materials with the approved indictment have been submitted to the court.
