Grove Street Games has announced a new multiplayer kaiju action game — BeastLink. The game will be released this summer on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam) in early access. On May 8, the developers will conduct a closed beta test on PC.

The events of BeastLink unfold in a post-global catastrophe world. The remnants of humanity survive in fortified shelters, while ruined cities are overrun by giant creatures. The key to survival, however, is a technology that once led to the demise of civilization.

Players will participate in large-scale battles where humans, vehicles, and enormous monsters clash on a single battlefield. In ruined megacities, a special serum can be obtained, allowing players to establish a connection with kaiju and take control of them. Each creature possesses unique abilities and fighting styles, and players will be able to switch between human and monster roles in both single-player and multiplayer modes.

Users will have access to a variety of vehicles — from cars to helicopters and tanks — which will help wreak havoc in battles and destroy the environment. The stronger the connection with the creature becomes, the more power the player gains, but the risk of losing control also increases.
