New Pragmata patch significantly improved image quality on PS5 Pro
Capcom continues to improve Pragmata. A recent update significantly enhanced the PS5 Pro version of the game.
Since April 21, the game has supported a new version of PSSR technology for PS5 Pro, but the image was scaled from 864p, which negatively affected the quality of ray-traced reflections.
After the release of update 1.21, the situation changed. Users noticed that upscaling now works from 1080p.
Digital Foundry verified the changes. According to analysts, the difference in image quality is indeed noticeable.
The image quality between both versions is noticeably different, especially in geometry and effects with long straight lines or edges.
At the same time, no significant performance drop has been found yet. In some cutscenes and heavy battles, the frame rate sometimes drops, but the PS5 Pro still maintains around 60 FPS within the VRR range of 48–60 Hz.
