
Authors of Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era fixed AI, "exit game" button, and map editor - fifth patch released
The developers addressed player complaints regarding multiplayer and more.
The developers of Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era continue to study feedback and gradually fix various issues. They recently released the fifth patch (or v. 0.80.13), which aims to fix artificial intelligence, button functionality, and more.
Some changes and improvements:
- The "Exit Game" button now correctly closes the application in multiplayer mode.
- Fixed a bug where a player could continue to perform actions even if their timer expired.
- Fixed a rare AI bug in combat.
- Fixed the "Mentors" sub-skill of the "Recruitment" skill.
- Fixed a bug that allowed re-selecting an answer in dialogues.
- Combat timers no longer overlap the initiative bar on 16:10 screens.
- Fixed the display of skill tooltips in the hero window via Shift.
- Fixed a UI bug when splitting a squad.
- The Alt button in draft mode works again.
- Fixed the display of squad losses with temporary creatures.
- In the map editor, the customizable version of the "University" object (custom_university) has been fixed: it no longer breaks map loading.
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is currently in "early access," and the developers expect it to remain in this status for about a year. However, these timelines may be adjusted.
