Escape from Tarkov developers have revealed upcoming changes. Players will be able to earn Prestige in the PvE Zone (details not yet disclosed), and a seasonal system will be introduced with modifiers that will affect gameplay mechanics and the character itself.
Battlestate Games presented a table with examples of modifiers – there will be both “general” and “personal” ones:
Some general modifiers (and 4 more modifiers are promised for this category):
- Broken Insurance — Cannot insure items with Traders;
- Hideout without FiR — Hideout modules do not require FiR (no “Found in Raid” status needed)
Some personal negative modifiers (10 more are promised for this category):
- Allergic — Some food, water, and medical supplies cause allergies;
- Hemophilia — Chance of bleeding is 25% higher;
- Osteoporosis — Chance of breaking any limb is 15% higher and falling from a height deals 15% more damage;
Some personal positive modifiers (14 more are promised for this category):
- Marathoner — Arm and leg stamina drains 10% slower;
- Bushborn — Brushing against branches, grass, and bushes causes 50% less noise and slowdown;
- Tarkov Marksman — Bolt-action rifle skill leveling speed is increased by 100% and this skill will immediately be level 10;
