Escape from Tarkov Developers Unveil Seasonal System, Promo Codes, and Announce PvE Prestige

Escape from Tarkov developers have revealed upcoming changes. Players will be able to earn Prestige in the PvE Zone (details not yet disclosed), and a seasonal system will be introduced with modifiers that will affect gameplay mechanics and the character itself.

Battlestate Games presented a table with examples of modifiers – there will be both “general” and “personal” ones:

Some general modifiers (and 4 more modifiers are promised for this category):

• Broken Insurance — Cannot insure items with Traders;
• Hideout without FiR — Hideout modules do not require FiR (no “Found in Raid” status needed)

Some personal negative modifiers (10 more are promised for this category):

• Allergic — Some food, water, and medical supplies cause allergies;
• Hemophilia — Chance of bleeding is 25% higher;
• Osteoporosis — Chance of breaking any limb is 15% higher and falling from a height deals 15% more damage;

Some personal positive modifiers (14 more are promised for this category):

• Marathoner — Arm and leg stamina drains 10% slower;
• Bushborn — Brushing against branches, grass, and bushes causes 50% less noise and slowdown;
• Tarkov Marksman — Bolt-action rifle skill leveling speed is increased by 100% and this skill will immediately be level 10;
