Directive 8020 won't require a powerful PC - Supermassive reveals requirements

10 May 09:19

Supermassive Games has revealed the final system requirements for Directive 8020 just days before its release, scheduled for May 12. The new horror game won't require top-tier hardware to run.

Next week, the studio will release a new project that was originally conceived as part of The Dark Pictures Anthology series. Ultimately, Directive 8020 evolved into a standalone game within the franchise, focusing on choices, consequences, and a more modern approach to storytelling.

Previously, Supermassive Games spoke about more dynamic gameplay and five-player co-op, and also showcased improved graphics designed for the capabilities of modern platforms. However, the developers emphasize that exploring the mysteries of the planet Tau Ceti f, located 12 light-years from Earth, will be accessible not only to owners of PS5 Pro and new NVIDIA RTX 50-series graphics cards.

The published requirements confirm that Directive 8020 is aimed at a wide audience of PC gamers, not just those with expensive builds.
