Another unexpected hit has appeared on Steam. Dead as Disco quickly gained popularity after its early access release, received 95% positive reviews, and sold over 100,000 copies in its first days.
If players are familiar with KickBeat by Zen Studios, released in 2013, then the new project from Brain Jar Games studio develops a similar idea, but on a much larger scale.
Dead as Disco offers to stage fights right on the dance floor to its own music or licensed tracks. The concept turned out to be so successful that at the start of early access, the game reached a peak online of 8413 people.
The first reviews also turned out to be extremely positive. Out of almost 5 thousand ratings, 95% are positive, which was a serious success for a small studio.
